Nicki's First Open House!!!!

I've been SOOOOO excited waiting for Nicki's first open house and we were ready to go tonight and a note came home saying that the Open House for tonight was only for Grades 1-5, NOT the Kindergarten and that the Kindergarten room would NOT be opened. Super Duper Sad Face..... :-(

So, okay, that was the bad news... let's try to think of the funny stuff I wanted to mention earlier... BEFORE I found out there was no open house... Well, first of all, there is a boy from her class that rides the bus with her. His name is Gabriel and he is such a cute little boy! He's just too funny! Yesterday, at the bus stop in the morning, he's like, 'Nicole! Come sit down by me!' so, she squatted down next to him and they sat waiting for the bus together... it was soooo cute! And then this morning, he was inviting her to his birthday party at his house. I asked him when his birthday was (expecting like October or November). He went and asked his Dad, came back and said 'June'! How funny!!!! And again this morning, they had a new bus driver, that parked on the wrong side of the street. As we were leading Nicki safely across the street to the bus, she held out her hand for Gabe and he held her hand as they got on the bus. Gosh darn, kids are so cute at this age!!!!

Oh! AND, Nicki is going on her first field trip tomorrow. They are going to see 'Space Chimps'! That should be really exciting!!! I can't wait to hear how it goes!
