New Networking Tool!!!!

Well, okay, it's not 'new' and well... I guess it isn't exactly a 'networking tool', but sometimes it feels like it! LOL I was in Walmart this morning (apparently, it is my second home now) and kept ending up in the same aisles as another lady. Finally, we struck up a conversation and it turns out that we both have 5 year old (only child) daughters that just started Kindergarten (although different schools)! It's so funny how a conversation can be started by just the smallest things! LOL It turns out her name is Michelle, but people always call her 'Melissa' when they first meet, and I have the same problem when I first meet people too-- they always call me 'Michelle'!!!! We gabbed for a bit and turns out that she has to put her cat to sleep today, which she is really upset about, so I offered her my condolences and we split up and went our separate ways...

But the reason I had to blog about this is because it's so neat how people.... strangers, even, can make such a connection together in such a short amount of time. I guess the basic truth of the thing is that we are all in the thing called 'Life' together and we all have equal roles.... really kinda neat and mind-blowing at the same time, if you take a second to think about it! :-)
