No longer an infant, no longer a toddler (never mind what the tags say in her clothes)... nope... a big girl is what she is... A chicken no longer... Nicki got her ears pierced yesterday! We spent a girl's day out yesterday and went to the mall and got those ears pierced. There was no crying, not a single tear... nothing... except she almost cried 'tears of joy' when it was over because she was so excited! She couldn't wait to come home and surprise Dad with them!This picture was taken at Wendy's because, well, girls gotta eat on their exciting days-out, right?! But her smile is a little off because she was in mid-chew during the picture! LOL
I just can't say how proud I am of her. I mean, after all, this is the girl who pulled a tooth out that wasn't even ready to go yet! Surely, she's brave enough to get her ears pierced! And she was! And she's taking really good care of them too. She's cleaning them herself (although I re-cleaned and checked them yesterday and today to make sure she's doing them really well) and they are looking perfect!!!

Wohooo! How exciting!!! Maybe I can talk Graham into letting me pierce Jocelyn's ear. Well, having someone else do it. hahaha. He says when she's TWELVE! Yeah right, I'm not waiting that long! :) I always win anyway, so I'm not too worried. hahaha.
She looks very grown up with her eyes pierced! That's impressive that she didn't cry at all!!!!!
