That's right... Dino-rama... to steal Jason's word for it (although he never reads this, so he won't know! lol) was our weekend project that kept Nicki and I VERY busy! I printed out the dinosaurs from an educational website, and cut them out for HER to then trace onto construction paper and cut out. Then, I cut foam board to go behind them, so that they would stand up. (I wasn't okay with a 5 year old using an exacto blade, so that's why I did the foam board cutting! LOL) :-) We glued her cut-outs onto the foam board and made little wedges to help them stand up and voila -- Dinosaur diorama! The dinosaurs that she used for this were T-rex, Brachiosaurus, and Edmontosaurus. She had to write a little about them, so her sentences were:
"Dinosaurs lived long ago."
"T-rex was a carnivore."
Seems to sum it up just fine! :-)
