Today has been a LONG day!!! Nicki finally had her skin allergy test. The doctor, then takes her RAST scores (the allergy blood test) and comes up with an overall of what she's allergic to. He said, that the skin test cannot produce false negatives, but sometimes can do false positives (which is why it's great to have the blood test results). So, the results are as follows:

- Peanuts (VERY STRONG ALLERGY)
- Shellfish
- Juniper
- Sycamore, Western
- June Grass
- Bermuda Grass (MODERATELY STRONG ALLERGY)
- Russian Thistle
- Red Root Pigweed
- Cats (VERY STRONG ALLERGY)
- Dogs (VERY STRONG ALLERGY)
- NON-ALLERGIC
- Strawberries (her favorite fruit!!!!!, even though the blood test said she MIGHT be)
- Ash, Arizona
- Cottonwood, Fremont
- Mulberry, White
- Common Sagebrush
- Western Ragweed
- Alternaria tenius (some kind of mold/fungus)
- Milk
- Wheat
- Soybean
- Corn
- Oats
- Rice
- Cashew
- Fish
So, at least we know some of the biggies to watch out for! We will follow up with the allergist in October, to see if things have cleared up, now that we know some possible culprits!
