Gone Batty!

So, we were outside working on the backyard patio last night when Nicki is wandering around the yard and yells out, 'Mom, Dad, there's some kind of weird dead animal over here!' My first response is, 'Don't touch it! We're coming!' :-) So, we went over and looked and guess what we found -- a bat!!!! Can't say that I've ever seen one up close like this before, without glass between us (like at the zoo). So, now we've had rabbits, a snake and a bat in our backyard! Can't wait to see what's next!!!!
