Nicki's First Christmas Program

This was Nicki's first Christmas program... It was pretty cool! I think Nicki was scared to death.... she didn't really smile until it got to the middle-end of it. But it was cool....

Then afterwards, the kids all went to open the presents (they had drawn names and each brought one small present for the other person) and Nicki didn't get one... She was heartbroken... devastated... she came to me crying. So, I asked the teacher what happened and she checked her list and saw that one little boy didn't bring his present and then she was all over him about it. So, then she found out that he had given his present to another girl in the class (who received two), so then Nicki had to go take that present back from that girl and it was just crazy... :-( The teachers should have had it all planned out, but they didn't.

So, then I burned a billion DVDs for the parents who wanted them (those who couldn't make it to the program, etc.), so that took quite a while! A couple hours, actually... But we finally did that and then went out to lunch, since we took Nicki home from school when we were done with the program and DVDs. While we were there, Jason ordered a margarita and Nicki was like, 'Whoa, Dad. You better slow down on that margarita! You're gonna get drunk!' Of course, she is not capable of speaking quietly, so a few heads turned, including the of Rio Rancho's finest that were sitting right behind us! LMAO It was really funny!!!!
