Spring Break 2009 #2

So, today was a fun day! It was a little slower than yesterday but then it was a much longer day, overall! I painted Nicki's toenails this morning and they are looking nice and sparkly! While her nails were drying, we learned about the game of hockey, because we took Nicki to her first hockey game tonight!

When we got there, they told us that the air compressor that keeps the ice from melting, had broken, so the game was going to be delayed by about an hour! So, we got to meet the Scorpion's mascot, Stanley. Nicki wasn't too sure about him at first, but he's really cool! Here is a picture of her with Stanley! Then, while we were waiting to be able to get to our seats, Nicki, Jason and her new Stanley doll posed for a photo. Our seats were kick butt!!! We were 5 rows from the glass! Here is a picture of the semi-melted ice, from our seats. Nicki really enjoyed the game; however, around 10PM, she just completely pooped out and laid on my chest for a bit... The Scorpions got really ripped-off in the last 1 minute of the game (it was a playoff game, too).... they scored two goals, but BOTH of them got called back, so they lost the game 2-1. The fans were less than excited about the calls and it was really nuts! We didn't get home until close to midnight and then Nicki got to bed by about 12:30AM. It was a late night, but fun!!!
