Spring Break 2009 #3

Today was a fun day! Nicki watched some cartoons in the morning, then we worked on some crafts together! Her Great-Granny sent her a package last week that had these bags and stickers in it, for a fun crafting project, so that was neat!!! Here are pics of the supplies and then the finished bags. Nicki and I each made each other a special bag, and those two are at the bottom of the picture.
The next two pics are of a pair of jeans that Nicki tore at the knee from falling at school, so while she worked on her bags, I was on the sewing machine next to her, working on converting them to capris. They turned out well, thank goodness! LOL
Then, after dinner, we went out in the backyard and she picked up trash (with my grab-nabber) because we have horrible winds here in spring, while I sprayed off the bird poop (yuck) from our back patio. I know that her eyes are closed in the picture, but I like the smile, so I had to put it up there. After we cleaned for a bit, we played some soccer in the backyard until a dust devil came around, so we booked it inside to get clean and ready for bed. Hmmm... haven't planned out tomorrow yet, so I'm not sure what I'm going to come up with! LOL!!!
