Happy Valentine's Day 2009!

I hope you all had a very Happy Valentine's Day! Ours was rather uneventful... With me still being sick, Nicki just recuperating from being sick and Jason just now starting to feel really yucky.... going out was NOT an option. But that's okay... we unleashed an all-out assault on germs and cleaned a bit... chilled a bit... and that's about it! LOL This first picture is of a project that Nicki did on Thursday (her only day to attend school this past week because Friday was a teacher inservice day) at school. I think it is so cute... The next picture is of a little stuffed animal heart guy that we got her. She just loves him! :-) That was one of those.. I knew it as soon as I saw it... kinda of deals! The last picture is an example of how random our daughter is! She decided to make a ski-ball game out of cardboard boxes we had around the house... she cut holes in the tissue boxes with her scissors and designed the whole thing herself. I left her to her own devices, wondering what she'd come up with... once she was done and had taped all the pieces together with scotch tape, I went ahead and reinforced some of the places with duct tape. She even included a ball return by using two small kleenex boxes on the right-hand side of it. The Spongebob lego box is the ramp "like the one at Chuck E. Cheese". LOL And then she used it and she added up her points (which was an added bonus I didn't forsee) and got 300 points her first turn! :-) Nicki got some Valentine's Day Cards from her Grandma & Grandad (Thank you for our card, too, btw... I loved it), her Great-Grandparents, her Great-Grandpa and her Grandma Charron sent her a tape (audio cassette tape) recorded in her voice of all of the Mr. Men and Little Miss Books that she has. So, this turned out to be a good day! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!!!
