It's Steak & Cake -- And I Helped!!!!

Yes... I said, 'Steak & Cake'. Today was Jason's 30th birthday and although he didn't want ANYTHING for his birthday, Nicki and I surprised him with some Wii points (for the new Wii he just bought). I also baked a birthday cake... his favorite... yellow cake with chocolate icing. And for dinner, he wanted steak. So, Nicki and I went to the butcher shop this morning (a very cool experience, indeed), and picked up a huge sirloin steak and brought it home. After much debate how to actually cook a steak, we ended up pan-searing it and then sticking it under the broiler. It was pretty darn good, actually... the seasonings could've been a bit better, but not too shabby! Because he slept all day and had to work tonight, there wasn't much else that we could do, but I think we did the best with what we had! Happy 30th, Old Man!
