One Small Step for Man... One Giant Leap for Nicki!!!!

Okay, so even though this is NOT earth-shattering news, I felt compelled to write this so that when the question comes up later, I will know the answer!!!! LOL First of all, Nicki has been bringing her lunch to school since school started. She's been wanting to buy lunch and we just waited, 'til she got the 'hang' of school first. So, today, she was allowed to get her lunch for the first time at in the cafeteria! My, what a big girl she is -- AND thinks she is! LOL On Wednesdays, the cafeteria gives them a sack lunch, so that they can take it back to their classrooms and eat (since it is an early release day every Wednesday). She was so excited to tell me about it when she got off the bus! She had a Hamburger, goldfish crackers and 1% milk (I'm thinking that she needs to put on weight... why'd she get the lowfat stuff?!) I didn't say all that, but asked her why she got the 1% milk and she said she was trying each one! LOL I knew there must've been a reason.... there always is with her! :-) She said she is going to try strawberry tomorrow and chocolate on Friday! Good thing she doesn't like to have things planned out like her good ole' Mom! ;-)
