Well, I've been lax with my blogging duties and for that, I apologize... I still need to upload some of her first grade music program... Keep checking back... I will get it on here... eventually... :)
Easter was nice and rather relaxed. On Saturday afternoon I made the traditional
bunny cake. This year was chocolate fudge with the standard homemade buttercream icing.... oh how I really despise working with powdered sugar... but oh well. :)
Nicki dyed eggs on Saturday night. That was a lot of fun. On one egg, she wrote "Nicole is my name and dying eggs is my game" with a wax crayon... I couldn't believe she fit it all on an egg. Lol
The Easter Bunny visited our apartment and she hunted for real and plastic eggs on Easter morning.
He brought her a big caterpillar stuffed buddy that she has named 'Jenny' and she is stuck to her like glue!I made a cinnamon crumb cake and helped her get dressed up while it was baking. I
can't believe how grown up she's getting!
Later, I made deviled eggs, which turned out really good and we had hot dogs, potato chips and eggs for our Easter lunch/dinner. It turned out to be a nice day.
