Gingerbread House 2009!!!

This year, we went back to making our gingerbread house from scratch. Whew... what a job! We made the dough and baked the pieces on Monday and then undertook the construction and decorating on Tuesday... the gingerbread gave us fits... didn't want to roll.. was too dry... but after making an additional batch... we got our pieces done. I think it turned out better than all our other ones so far and it was a lot of fun putting it together! My favorite parts are the jolly rancher windows, which I think turned out even better than we'd planned! Already forming ideas for our house next year!!! :)
